Global Libraries Standards: Biblio Commons

Global Libraries Standards: Biblio Commons

Standards … You may have heard this term one day
But what are the standards and who defines them and who is
based on documenting them ?
Unified standards in the field of libraries, documentation and
information are an indispensable tool for both library management and
librarians. Without them, libraries become mere stores of information
vessels only. We can imagine libraries and their bleak picture if
each of them had its own classification, and its separate indexing
rules.
Standards are a necessary tool in the technical processes,
evaluation in library services, and planning for the creation of new
libraries and the improvement of existing one.
The reasons that led to the use of unified standards in the
field of libraries and information in essence are the same reasons
that led to their entry into other fields and sectors.
Library Standards in the World is your window to keep abreast
of what is new in the field of libraries and information regionally
and internationally.
We are seeking to find an audience that is aware of all
developments regarding the new standards for libraries, projects,
various agreements, modern technologies, and others.
We will discuss three important and comprehensive points about
Unified standards in Libraries, as follows:

Cooperation Agreements
Library Resource
